The setup questions#
Your answers shape your calendar. A bar at the top shows where you are, and every step is saved as you go. You can close the page and carry on later.
| Step | We ask | We use it for |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Your main goal (Audience Growth, Audience Nurture or Increasing Income) and your genre | The mix of posts in your plan |
| 2 | Your hours a week, and your team members with their hours | How many posts to plan |
| 3 | What you can make to promote your music | The kinds of posts that suit you |
| 4 | Your monthly budget | Planning your calendar |
| 5 | Whether you have merch, and which kinds | Merch posts |
| 6 | A release coming up: its name and date | Teasers, and the release's task list |
| 7 | An event coming up: its date | A poster and stories |
| 8 | Your accounts | Your numbers. All optional |
- A release or event date has to be in the future.
- Back goes to the step before. Skip shows up when a step is not filled in.
- You can connect your accounts later in Settings, Connected Accounts. See Connect your accounts.
When you finish#
- Your answers are kept in Settings, Profile.
- A release you added is created with the whole standard task list on its board. See Releases, events and the task board.
- You land on your Calendar. The one exception: if your main goal is Increasing Income and you added no release, you land on Fans.
- A card offers a short tour of every page. See Undo, Learning Mode and the tour.
Your calendar starts empty. Press Auto-fill 4 Weeks to plan your first four weeks. See Auto-fill and your calendar.
Where everything is#
The menu has five tabs. On a computer it runs down the side. On a phone it runs along the bottom.
| Tab | What is in it |
|---|---|
| Calendar | Your posts, week by week. Auto-fill, captions, links and review links. |
| Releases | Your releases and events, and a task board for each. |
| Insights | Your numbers from every connected account. |
| Fans | Mailing, Links Page, Ticketing, Webstore and Website Data. |
| More | Settings, Refer a Friend, Transfers, Resources, Docs (these guides), Goals, Data Export and Report a Bug. |
Change your answers later#
Your name, genre, focus, weekly hours and monthly budget are in Settings, Profile. Change them and press Save Changes. A new focus only affects posts you have not planned yet.
To go through all the questions again, press Redo Onboarding on the same tab. Your upcoming release is updated, not added a second time.
