The words, in plain English#

WordIt means
Net followersNew followers minus the people who unfollowed. A plus means you are growing.
ReachHow many different people saw your content, whether or not they follow you.
Weighted engagementLikes, shares, saves and comments are not equal. A comment counts 3 times, a save 2.5, a share 2 and a like 1.
Saves and sharesSomeone keeping a post for later, or sending it on. Both mean far more than likes.
Monthly listenersHow many different people played your music on Spotify in the last 30 days. Each person counts once.
CTRClick-through rate. On your links page, the number of clicks divided by the number of page views.

Turn on Learning Mode and these words get a small (i) you can press. See Undo, Learning Mode and the tour.

  • For your first 21 days a note says Insights will fill up over time. Close it with the ×, and it stays closed in this browser.
  • Your follower history starts the day you connect, so charts need a little time before they have two points to join up.
  • "Not enough data" means the account is connected but has not reported enough yet. Give it a few days.
