Goals and forecasts

A goal is a number you want to reach by a date, such as 5,000 followers by June. We forecast where you will land, so you can tell early whether you are on track.

Where goals are#

Open More, then Goals. You need at least one of Instagram, TikTok or YouTube connected. If you have none, the page asks you to connect first. See Connect your accounts.

  • Three goals are always there and cannot be removed: Instagram Followers, TikTok Followers and YouTube Subscribers. Their current number is filled in for you.
  • Press + Add Goal for TikTok Video Views or YouTube Video Views. Pick one, type a target and a date, and press Save.
  • Press Edit on a goal to change its target and deadline. Remove deletes a goal you added.

How good is the forecast?#

Each forecast has a badge. A forecast gets better as we see more of your own growth.

Reach-basedYour first days. Built only from your recent reach.
BlendedFrom about day 5. Reach plus the growth we have seen.
CalibratedAfter about 8 weeks. Fitted to your own history.

An account younger than 30 days shows a note that its forecasts are rough. Press Update Projections to recalculate now.

How the forecast is made#

Starting point

The latest numbers from your connected accounts.

Growth rate

Based on your audience size and how that platform tends to grow. A small account grows faster in proportion.

Your activity

How often you post, what kinds, and how varied they are. Planned posts and an upcoming release count too.

The range

A forecast is an estimate, so we show a low and a high end. The verdict says where your target sits in it.

Press How is this calculated? at the bottom of the Goals page for the same explanation in the dashboard.
