Merch: shipping, VAT and returns

Updated October 2026

You are the seller of everything in your shop. Your name and address are on the shop page and on every receipt.

Your seller details

In Webstore, Settings, Seller details, add your legal name, postal address and contact email. They are required. Add your VAT ID if you have one. A business address, or a c/o address, works if you do not want to show your home.

Products

  • Each product has a name, a price, a description and up to 6 photos.
  • Add options for sizes or colours. An option can have its own price.
  • Set stock per option or per product. Leave it empty for no limit. Stock is held while someone is paying, so you cannot oversell.
  • Hide a product any time without deleting it.

Shipping

There are two ways. Pick one.

  • Simple: give each product a flat shipping price per item.
  • By place: in Webstore, Settings, Shipping, add names like Germany, EU, Worldwide or Local pickup. Then set a price for each one on every product, in Products. The buyer picks one in the cart. A price of 0 is free, which suits local pickup.

Stripe asks the buyer for a delivery address at checkout. Buyers can enter one in much of Europe, plus the UK, the US and Canada. Your shop page lists the exact countries.

VAT and tax

  • Tax on your sales is yours to handle.
  • Your prices are charged exactly as you set them. If you charge VAT, include it in the price, and add your VAT ID in your seller details.
  • If you are not sure what applies to you, ask a tax adviser.

Orders and returns

  • You get an email for every new order. You can change who gets it, or turn it off, in Settings, Notifications.
  • Open Orders and mark an order as shipped once it is on its way.
  • Buyers in the EU can usually withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of getting it. Their receipt tells them how. There are exceptions, such as sealed records and cassettes once they are opened.
  • Refunds are yours to do, in your Stripe dashboard.
Still stuck? Email contact@lasaguasproductions.com. If the dashboard showed a box that says "That didn't work", copy the grey details in it and paste them into your email. It helps us find the problem fast.
